Hello! I’m Ariana Parsons, currently in my Senior year at Baylor University in Waco, TX. Originally, I am from a small farming community located in Southeast Iowa. I am pursuing a double major in Marketing and Entrepreneurship, on track to graduate in December 2025. Through my Vice President of Alumni Relations position with Alpha Kappa Psi, I’ve had the opportunity to co-launch professional development events as well as assist philanthropy events to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness. This position has allowed me to show my passion for service and strengthen the community within our organization. This past summer, I was blessed to serve as a Camp Counselor for Eagle Sky Christian Challenge Camp. I led counseling for ages 8-18, where I fostered unforgettable camper experiences and provided guidance in faith. Along with my passion for service, I was blessed to serve as Advertising and Social Media Officer for Baylor Dance Company. In this role, I was able to combine my love for dance and photography as well as strengthen my communication skills through innovative marketing tactics.
I am thrilled to be joining Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity this summer to create positive impacts on the Chaffee community. With my love for the outdoors and small communities, I am excited to have made the short-term move to the beautiful state of Colorado! I am delighted to expand outside of my comfort zone, strengthening my marketing and fundraising skills to make the ‘Anything Pasta’ fundraiser a successful event.
Hello! My name is Ella Hurley, and I am a recent graduate from Colorado Mesa University. I graduated there with my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. During my 4 years there, I gained real-life experience and skills that I can carry with me for the rest of my life.
I am super excited to be working with Chaffe County Habitat for Humanity. Throughout my life, I have spent every summer in the Chaffe County area and have grown to embrace the community. Working with Habitat for Humanity allows me to give back to a community that I have grown to love. This area has been and will continue to be a large part of my life. I hope that I can give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of the people in the area.
During my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors hiking. I recently started running and ran my first BoulderBoulder 10k! When I am not out running or hiking, I enjoy spending my time baking or reading. I love to bake, and I am always excited to try out new recipes or try new desserts.
I am a bookworm and will find any chance to read. I also love spending time with my family and hiking with my dogs, Leo and Ruby.
I am super excited to spend the summer in Buena Vista and to have the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity. I’m excited to see what this summer has to offer and to make an impact in such a beautiful place.

Katlynne Britosolas, PR/Marketing
Hi! My name is Katlynne Britosalas, and I’m going into my Sophomore year at New Mexico State University in NM. I am originally from California, but I have lived all over and am currently settling down in Las Cruces, NM, while I pursue a double major in Energy Economics and Strategic Marketing. This past year, I finished my freshman year of college, yay! And worked at my university’s Honors College, helping manage their social media and front desk. It was definitely a challenging experience, but I am hoping to carry the skills I gain here back home. I am so excited to be in Colorado this summer with Habitat for Humanity, as I’ve always felt a calling to work for or intern at a nonprofit, and it’s finally happening! I grew up in Denver for a few years, so to be back and in such a cute town is a blessing. I plan to go on hikes, bike rides, and lots of adventures while I am here.
