Three competitors in the restaurant category and sixteen individuals vied for the people’s choice. First place in each category was awarded a $100 Visa gift card and a first place certificate. For the attendees, there was an amazing assortment of macaroni and cheese recipes to sample. The variety ranged from desserts to main dishes. After counting the votes, Brett Boren, Banquet Chef at Mt. Princeton, won the restaurant category and Jennifer Wilson won the individual category as the 2018 Mac & Cheese Bake-Off Champions.

Congratulations Brett and Jennifer!

The silent auction was also a great success. The auction comprised of more than forty individual items and combined packages donated by individuals, local artists and many Chaffee County businesses. Some of the items included rafting trips, resort packages, gift cards, tools, jewelry, and artwork.
