• Complete sets, all doors and drawers attached, no nails or screws sticking out, undamaged during removal
• Vanities in good condition with stone tops or engineered stone tops

• Cabinets with water damage or damage from removal
• Countertops that are fiberboard Formica combinations

• Interior and exterior doors (frame must be sturdy and in good condition)

• Doors must be damage free, free of stickers, free of any mirrors, and no other add ons

• All furniture items must be in good, clean condition, free of stains, rips or tears, and pet hair
• Furniture must be solid wood – Any fiberboard furniture must be pre-approved by staff

• Faded furniture, stained or ripped upholstered items

• Armoires and entertainment centers
• Particle board furniture (must have staff or volunteer approval)
• Pianos and organs
• Bunk beds, day beds, and loft beds
• Incomplete bed sets- must be headboard, footboard, and side rails
• Sectionals, Futons and Sleeper sofas
• Baby furniture of any kind
• L-shaped desks, desks over 50 inches, cubicles, conference tables
• Any items that smell of cigarettes
• Metal File Cabinets

• NEW tile – Not previously installed
• NEW Laminate or Wood flooring – Not previously installed
• Peel & Stick Tiles must be at least 10 sq. ft. and in good condition.
• Area rugs must be vacuumed and free of holes, stains and pet hair (max size 5’x8’)
  • Rugs over 5’x8’ need staff approval

• Carpeting of any kind
• Shag rugs
• Laminate flooring rolls

• NEW door knobs in box, old door knobs as long as they are complete and with a key if it is a key style door knob
• Screws, fasteners, hooks, nuts, bolts and other common hardware store hardware – NO NAILS

• Any used hardware or Nails that are not in the original packaging
• Garage door hardware
• Incomplete sets/boxes of hardware
• Nails

• Artwork, mirrors, Knick-knacks, and decorative items (mirrors and art must be framed)
• All dishware and cookware items must be clean, boxed, and undamaged
• Small appliances must be clean, under 10 years old, and in good working order
• Throw pillows (must be clean, stain-free, and boxed or bagged)

Not Accepted

• Curtains, valances, curtain hooks, and curtain rods
• Blinds of any kind
• Large amounts of books (limit 1 box per donor)
• Linens, clothing, and any soft line items

• All bricks, stone, and cinderblock must be on pallets and clean of mortar
• Garden equipment: rakes, hand tools, wheelbarrows, and other yard tools
• Planters, pots, and outdoor decor

• Sprinkler system equipment – Unless new and never installed
• No lawn mowers, weed eaters, or pole trimmers
• No BBQ Grills
• Garden hoses – unless new

• Lamps, wall sconces, and chandeliers – Nothing in brass will be accepted

• Sheet goods: plywood, OSB, drywall – minimum ½ sheet (4’x4’)

• NEW toilets (low flow 1.6 gal/flush or less)
• NEW faucets

• Fishing supplies – fishing line must be wound on an original spool
• Small camping gear, hiking and backpacks
• Seasonal Sports Equipment may be accepted with prior approval

• Tents – Unless new in the bag with all parts
• Exercise equipment and over the door style exercise equipment

• General-purpose hand tools
• Power tools must be in good working condition and with all accessories and cords
• Large power tools must be approved

• Double-pane, vinyl, or metal-clad windows
• No nails sticking out of the frame
• Only windows in good condition with intact seals

• Large or custom-sized windows (max size 5’x5’)
• Blinds or Curtains of any kind

  • We do offer a paint recycling program for architectural paint through PaintCare. Please call the store for details and further information as these items have limits and restrictions.
