After the COVID-19 closure, we had some amazing individual volunteers and volunteer groups working at the 320 Spartan Alley project. These dedicated volunteers worked diligently to complete another affordable home for a deserving family in Chaffee County. We would also like to thank our two summer construction interns, Taylor Reiheld and Nathan Weida for their hard work and dedication to this project. We could not accomplish our mission of building homes, communities, and hope without the generosity of each of our volunteers, donors, and ReStore shoppers.

COVID-19 SAFETY INFORMATION: Our build sites, as well as our ReStore and administrative offices, have received certification as COVID-19 Safe by the Chaffee County Public Health Department. We will continue to reevaluate our operational plan as we receive further information from federal, state, and local public health authorities.

July 2020: Construction Update
The Chaffee County Habitat build site is cruising along!

We’ve had several amazing locals helping at the build site over the past few weeks. Our site reopened to community volunteers on June 2nd. During this time, we have hung the trusses, completed the framing, installed the blue board insulation, house wrap, and are working on shingling the roof.
