On May 6th 2017, the Buena Vista High School Interact Club went out in full-force for their Third Annual Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity (CCHfH) Snack Drive. Their booth was set up at the entrance of City Market in Buena Vista from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The snack drive was a huge success! Once everything was unloaded, the array of snacks and drinks filled a 28 square-foot conference table with donations for our build site volunteers. Additionally, the group collected $95.00 in cash donations that will also provide snacks/lunches for our summer build program.
We would like to thank City Market for accommodating the BVHS Interact Club’s booth at the store entrance, as well as Bill Fabian and the BVHS Interact Club for their hard work and dedication to the CCHfH 2017 Summer Build Season. Most of all, we truly appreciate the support of everyone that donated to the snack drive.
Chaffee County certainly came together to support CCHfH in working towards their mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
