Another Successful Habitat Fundraiser!
Three competitors in the restaurant category and eleven individuals vied for the people’s choice. This year first, second, and third place winners in each category were awarded visa gift cards, Habitat goodie bags, and recognition certificates. For the attendees, there was an assortment of macaroni and cheese recipes to sample. After counting the votes, Brett and Mendy Boren won the restaurant category with their “Heart Attack Mac”, Paula Milner of K’s Dairy Delite came in second, and Janine Giles with Granny’s Just Desserts came in third place. Clare Tarcha of Community Bank of Colorado’s Buena Vista branch won the individual category with her special “French Oniony Mac N Cheese”, second place went to Hilary Downs, and third place to Nicco Hernandez. Congratulations to all of our 2022 Mac & Cheese Bake-Off winners!
