2016 Summer Internship Program

Nada Abdellatif-Pic

Nada Abdellatif, Construction Intern

My name is Nada Abdellatif. I am a 20 -year-old Egyptian-American student. I am originally from New York; however, I’ve lived all my life relocating from one country to another. Starting from the USA and all the way to the Middle East. I am currently in my senior year at the American University in Cairo and I can’t wait for graduation so that I can freely travel to the exquisitely naturally beautiful cities of the world. That being said, BV would be my first destination! I can’t wait to experience all the outdoor activities in BV, especially hiking. I am at my happiest state if I am immersed behind my kindle, staying over at my best friends’ or spending quality time with my grandpa. I also love animals so much and have a special spot for dogs, but unfortunately never got a chance to own one, so during my free time you’ll most probably find me hanging out at the animal shelter; I guess I do belong in Colorado after all!

Hailey Purdy

Hailey Purdy, PR/Marketing Intern

As a student at Kansas State University, I am currently pursuing a degree in public relations with a minor in leadership studies. I love writing, photography and design. I’m an avid list-maker and prefer to spend most of my time outdoors. In my free time, you can probably find me doing yoga, drinking coffee or reading a good book. I am beyond excited and thankful for the opportunity to intern with Chaffee County Habitat for Humanity as well as spend the upcoming summer in the colorful state of Colorado. I specifically can’t wait to explore the town of Buena Vista.
